Welcome to Your Free Resources from Awaken Wellness!
Thank you for attending Mountain Youth’s Eat Chat Connect 2-generation seminar: Resilient Minds. It was an honor and an absolute pleasure to facilitate the seminar.
I have created this resources page for you so that you have easy access to the information, tools, techniques, and activities that we learned during the seminar. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or for assistance.
My teaching work focuses on helping people learn to take control of their overactive mind which is the biggest contributing factor to feeling overwhelmed and anxious in today’s fast-paced world. You will find information, dates, and ways to book AWAKEN’s small-group course via Zoom here. If you would prefer in-person group classes in the Vail Valley, please email me with your interest and I will add you to the waitlist. Once there is a sufficient number of attendees, I will schedule course dates and book an event venue.
My integrative nutrition health coaching is tailored to support busy female professionals navigating the unique changes that come with midlife. These changes can shift how we experience stress, anxiety, hormonal and metabolic health, body composition, and our mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. I’m working to introduce ThriveMidlife: Empowering Women to Flourish in Change—a new support group to be designed to provide community and guidance through this transformative time. If you’re interested in joining, I’d love to hear what you’d like from a group program like this. To express interest or learn more, please feel free to reach out!

3-Minute Breathing Space Meditation adapted from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
You may like to start your day with meditation on waking and finish it off with a meditation before sleeping. This 3-minute meditation is particularly useful here. This ‘mini-meditation’ can also be used in moments of ‘crisis’ where you become swamped with the overwhelming demands of a day, and find yourself reacting instead of responding.
